Tenterhooks

So as you know  if you've been following this blog at all, I wrote a NaNovel in, naturally, November.  Well, I also read said novel through once to correct the most heinous and hideous of errors that I could find, and to see if it was crap.  Well, it's not crap, but it'll be a while before I know what it is rather than what it isn't.  Meantime, my three fabulous amies/betas/goddesses, jenboo, jaunthie, and k-bob, all have the thing in their possession.  I fear, I dread what they will find, and yet I eagerly await their feedback.  Of course I know it won't come for quite while; they all have lives and there are holidays fast approaching.  That's okay.  The hard part is letting the thing sit on my hard drive (and on my thumb drive--don't think I don't have more than one copy in case of disaster) just curing, gelling, settling, simmering.  Whatever you want to call it.  Sitting.  Just sitting.  For an instant gratification junkie like me, this is most challenging.
