monkeybard: (sick but snuggly)

She gets to come home tonight!  Of course, we can't pick her up until 11 due to one scheduling confusion and another, but still...Yay!  We'll go get her at 11.  Learn how to give her subcutaneous fluids, which she'll need every day, and then we'll all go home!  I really hope they give her a bath first.  She's been in that little sweater for three days and hasn't been able to bathe herself.  Kitty needs a bath!

YAY! The Queen returns to her THRONE!

Good luck with the keeping up on the fluids thing. Here's hoping she did get a bath.

*hugs*

subcutaneous fluids - we've been there. the betterer they get, the harder it is to keep the needle in. it took both of us and a towel to get fluids into our 6lb weak cat! watch yourself for needlesticks - not dangerous, per se, but painful, and sadly, one is inevitable. be kind and don't have the solution anywhere cold; that's just torture. you can't heat it, really, but keeping it in a warmer place is kind to kitty.

That might work, if the bag will be empty in 7-10 days.
