Nicked this one from
jaunthie . Feel free to play along if you like.
Cliché Meme - You know it's true. If you write at all, you've probably written at least a few stories that contain one or more clichéd plot devices. Take a minute to copy and paste the list below into your journal. Bold the clichés you have written, and italicize those you've considered writing. If you're into it, add one to the bottom of the list that we missed, but you didn't. If you're really feeling like taking a deep, dark look into your writing history, add comments.
Genderswap: No
Bodyswap: No
Drunk!fic: If you mean gotten characters drunk as an excuse to behave stupidly with each other, no.
Huddling together for warmth: I don't think so, but I could be forgetting something.
Undercover in a gay bar: No. If my characters go to a gay bar, they're not undercover.
Pretending to be married: Why would I write that?
Secretly a virgin: Again, why?
Amnesia: Not that I recall...
Cross-dressing: No, but it could be fun.
Forced to share a bed: Oh yeah. Done that one.
Aliens make them do it: Maybe? Honestly don't remember, but I don't think so. I like characters to be responsible for their actions.
Wingfic: No.
Mpreg: I'll leave that to the hacks and the experts. You can decide for yourselves which are which.
Mistakenly assumed to be gay: Not yet, but I've considered it.
Let's play truth or dare: No. Don't like that game. Never have, never will.
Mary Sue fic: Isn't that what grade school crushes on characters in TV shows are for?
Aphrodisiacs: Yeah, but not in the traditional sense.
Curtainfic: I had to google this one to find out what it was, and yep, guilty, but you'll never read it.
Hurt/Comfort: As part of a fic, but not as the purpose of the fic.
Apocalypse fic: No
Someone has a baby: Absolutely not.
Baby!fic: See above
Telepathic soulbonding: Oh gods. We have Elfquest to blame for this, and yes I've written some in that universe.
Werewolves mate for life: No
PWP: Hell yeah. Too much fun not to.
That was amusing, enlightening, and even a little encouraging.
