Where has she been?

 Well, first she was out playing with a friend from out of town, then she was in Whistler, BC. Now she's home and trying to catch up with RL and CL (Cyber Life).

Notable September things:

• Went to Festival de Lenezy. Much fun had. Many clams consumed. Had a good chat with ladynessey about writing. Thinking it may be time to outline the second book in what should be a trilogy.
• Met ficscribbler and numberscruncher. Much fun had. Much good food consumed. Much walking done. Unable to locate Waiting for the Interuban. If found, please tell me where it's got to.
  
• Asked to audition for Seattle Shakes. Read well. Monolgue good. Answered odd questions--some well, some badly. Didn't get the job. Hope for another chance this season. Need to send headshot and resume in hopes of getting audition for next season.
• Went to Whistler. Much fun had. Much good food consumed. Much walking done. Much Cow's ice cream enjoyed.
• Stopped in Vancouver on the way home. Second breakfasted with vflick. Missed seeing arden_baird. Forgot to put new number in phone. D'oh.
• Read an actual grown-up book. Didn't involve a single monk, priest, or apocalypse. Loved it. Ordered a copy of the book that comes before it. Hope the remaining author (one passed away in May) will eventually write the other two books she and her partner had planned for the series.
• Got a tip from k-bob. Time to write some original short fiction. Perhaps make it a goal for NaNoWriMo.
• Will vote this evening.
• Monkey intervention looming. Much dread.
• Wondering why update button says "Update Captain's Log" instead of "Update Journal". V. odd. Perhaps it relates to Talk Like a Pirate Day. That is today, no? Argh!

hugs and support for Monkey intervention. I heard a tad about said intervention this past weekend, i hope the resolution is what you hope for!
and yes, today is Talk Like A Pirate Day. and MY journal says 'update journal'. I guess you're cool so you get a Captain's Log. ;)

I think I'd be up for walking next week, don't want to run yet, as ankle is still iffy. I can walk with no problems, so I'm thinking I should ease into high impact stuff...let me know if any days next week will work for you. :)

I won't be at work on wednesday, so monday, tuesday, or friday...tues and fri i'm covering phones so I need to be in my office from noon until 2, but anytime around that is fine. wanna maybe do 3x? mon, wed and fri? morning or afternoon work better for you?
