Brief update of my crazy weekend

Friday night:

• Saw Seven Year Itch at Driftwood.  Fun show, very enjoyable.  It closed Sunday, so if you wanted to see it you're out of luck.

Saturday: 

• Fought migraine all day.
•  Went to see The Tempest in the Lake despite migraine.  Fun show, very enjoyable.  Unfortunately hard to hear at times due to crashing waves, light aircraft, and squirrely kids.  It closed Sunday, so if you wanted to see it you're out of luck.
• Didn't see Man of La Mancha at CLO becasue of migraine.  It closed Sunday, so I'm out of luck.
• Woke to resurgence of migraine at 4:46 am.  Took BIG DRUGS.  Migraine screamed and died.

Sunday:

• Went shopping with sunkrux for her Halloween costume pattern and fabric.  Success!  Washed fabric.  Will start working on it when I'm home and have more than two minutes to spare.
• Yummy lunch at Taco Del Mar.  Thanks, sunkrux!
• Went for lovely dinner and BSG at Einstein's house.  Finally half way through S2 and are all cursing because it was a cliff-hanger episode.  Hopefully we can all meet again on Oct. 2.

Monday:

• At NordicBoy's office.  Fortunately only half bored.
• FiTanna coming for premier of Heros (Heroes?) in HD tonight.

How was Hero?

I really dug it. It has oodles of potential and interesting characters. I liked the way in which they tied everyone together, but so loosely that most of the characters still think they're alone.
