Another busy weekend

Saturday 12:30 - B-day party for niece who is turning 1. (As if she cares that it's her b-day; she's not old enough to know what a calendar means.)  Could have been far worse. Had nice but brief chats with a few in-laws. Avoided eating too much by drinking lots of water. Candle/firework on cake was cool. All-in-all, though, I should've brought scotch.

Saturday 3:30 - BSG 5-ep marathon at Einstein's. Heavenly salad with avacado, pom seeds, candied pecans, and delicious vinaigrette; amazing 7-cheese lasagne.  Fantastic apple-craberry pie made by I and Z, complete with juicy cinnamony sauce.  lovely chianti, lovely syrah, lovely cheeses. Last five eps of S2 BSG. Yowza! Oh, and one broken toe. D'oh!

Sunday 1:00-5:00 - Souk. Made $20 for me and $20 for the Mama-san. Could have been better, could have been worse.  Have a plan now for the next Souk. :) Also got a bit of work done on a costume bra that's been sitting idle and covered in red doe-suede for years.  Hope to finish before Monkeys dance at Driftwood in December.
