...is that there's no one who has a natural affinity for water.  It is not my element.  It is not NordicBoy's element.  Even the cat is a fire sign.  Perhaps this is why when something goes wrong with the house, chances are it's the plumbing.  Again.

Thanks. The clean up (what we could do) wasn't the worst of it. That'll come when they dig up either our driveway or the rockery in order to get to the sewer pipes below and replace them. Any chance you know someone who could give me tomorrow's winning lotto numbers? This is going to cost a small fortune. :(

On the up side, with three fire signs (counting the cat) here, I have no fear that the house will ever combust. It's a trade-off.
