Thar be laundry here! Argh!

"I'm doing laundry!" to quote The Tick, and I'm damned glad about it.  The pipes are done!  There is not yet a second functioning toilet, but that's because the cement wasn't quite ready.  Presumably they'll take care of it when the come to finish the cement on Monday.  But meanwhile, I'm doing laundry!  There are clean sheets on the bed,  clean jammies on my body, clean towels in the bathroom, and I am happy-happy.  It's like freakin' turbo-charged laundry, man!  It's AWSOME!  The water fills so fast!  Whee!

In other news, The Fuzzy Monkeys performed at Hasani's Hafla in Tacoma this evening.  There are probably still dancers dancing now, in fact.  We left earlier than intended due to one Monkey's unwellness, but that's okay.  It was good to get home before the weather got scary again.  It's way blowy out there!  Maybe if I wish real hard it will blow away all the leaves that have fallen this week while I can't get to the rake to clean them up.  ::crossing fingers and wishing really hard::

Guenivere:  I suppose the leaves all blow into neat little piles.
Arthur:  Oh no, my lady.  They blow away completely--at night, of course.
Guenivere:  Of course.

I think Tamilyn Dahlal (sp???) was wrapping up at about that time. We were pretty much packed and done by midnight.

And now, I need to shower. My head hurts from wearing my spare hair for a good portion of the night...
