kayjayuu. And like her and cheating, using two sentences.
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNaWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current works in progress in your journal.
Log 3:7 (Almost done. I'm told there one scene I still need to write.)
Madeline watched Trip physically rein in his anger, wondered if the alien on the viewscreen could interpret his body language, too. She guessed not, or he'd have chosen his words more carefully.
Hot Water (jaunthie has this right now and I know she's made progress. Yay!)
"That's one way to get into Malone's pants," said Finn lightly. She'd never met the reporter, but Veronica had told her enough about him for her to know the two were very close, although she'd never quite figured out if they had slept together.
Dockside (Sequel to Druids' Treasure. I have five other WIPs in this universe. I won't waste your time putting in lines from them.)
"Fellow slipped, hit his head, and drowned, Minstrel. There's no poetry in that."
I finished my NaNovel, but here's an exerpt anyway. Two short paragraphs.

Ricky grinned again--an expression that he used in so many ways. This time it was sly, knowing, and lascivious all at once. "How was that?" he asked in a husky voice. "Was that fair compensation?"
Jimothy nodded. He knew he'd have to think, to deal with everything he'd learned. Later. "More than fair," he agreed.
